DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 21, 2026) Past champion and Boca Raton resident France Tiafoe will play the Delray Beach Open next month, the tournament announced today. Tiafoe’s first career title came at the tournament in 2018.

The 34th Delray Beach Open takes place Feb. 13-22 at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center. Tickets can be purchased at DelrayBeachOpen.com.

“Delray is always love for me,” said Tiafoe. “This is where I won my first title, so coming back here just hits different. The fans bring so much energy every time I step on court, and I'm excited to be back and make some more memories.”

Tiafoe joins a stellar list of previously announced players who have committed to the tournament: Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud, Tommy Paul, Learner Tien and Alex Michelsen.

Since his triumph on the hard courts in Delray, Tiafoe has won a title on clay and one on grass to collect ATP trophies on every surface. He is a two-time US Open semifinalist, an Australian Open quarterfinalist and, last season, he and Paul became the first American men to reach the French Open quarterfinals since Andre Agassi in 2003. Tiafoe has been ranked as high as world No. 10.

This year will mark Tiafoe’s sixth time to play the Delray Beach Open, where he reached the 2024 semifinals in his last appearance. As a local, Tiafoe regularly practices on the tournament’s stadium court.

He was a 20-year-old wild card ranked No. 91 when he won the Delray Beach Open in 2018. In that title run, he defeated five higher-ranked players including then-No. 10 ranked Juan Martin del Potro.

Del Potro, the 2009 US Open champion and 2011 Delray winner, is also returning to the tournament for the 17th annual Legends exhibition event that takes place on the tournament’s opening weekend. He’ll play doubles matches on Friday night, Feb. 13 and Sunday afternoon, Feb. 15.

Among the former players del Potro will face in the exhibition are Hall of Famers and six-time Delray doubles champions Bob and Mike Bryan. Also joining in the fun of the Legends event are French Open champions Luke and Murphy Jensen, past Delray Beach Open singles champions Tommy Haas, Xavier Malisse and Jan-Michael Gambill, and popular local pros.

The Legends event is part of the opening weekend FAN FEST Feb. 13-15. In addition to Legends exhibition matches, fans can watch qualifying rounds for the ATP 250 tournament as well as practice sessions. New this year, kids 14-and-under will receive a free Stadium Court Reserved seat with the purchase of an adult ticket on the day of the event at the box office throughout FAN FEST weekend.

In addition to watching matches, kids will enjoy interactive exhibits and player autograph sessions all weekend, and on Feb. 14 they can try tennis for themselves at the USTA Florida Kids Day.

Also new in 2026, in partnership with the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA), is the Delray Beach Open Window Decorating Competition, Love at First Sight. The competition invites Downtown Delray Beach businesses to create tennis-themed storefront displays during the 2026 tournament, with displays on view beginning February 1, 2026. The public can vote for their favorites and the winners will be announced on Stadium Court during the tournament.

The Delray Beach stop on the global ATP Tour annually plays in front of over 60,000 fans in addition to reaching television audiences in more than 185 countries over the course of 10 days.
