UnseededSebastian Kordabecame the 11th unseeded player to win the title when he defeated fifth seedTommy Paulin the final 6-4, 6-3. Korda defeating the second, third and fifth seeds en route to the title.

Korda becomes the second junior clay court winner to also win the Delray Beach Open after Jack Sock, who won the national junior clay courts in 2009 and the ATP Tour's Delray Beach Open in 2017.

Nikola MekticandAustin Krajicekare both former world No. 1s and Grand Slam champions. Mektic is an Olympic gold medalist (2020) from Croatia and Krajicek is a silver medalist (2024) from the United States. OpponentsBenjamin KittayandRyan Seggermanwere playing in their first ATP Tour final, Kittay in his first ATP Tour event. But with no-ad scoring and a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a third set, anything can happen.

 

After splitting sets, the Olympic medalists served down championship point at 8-9 in the deciding tiebreak and eventually prevailed 11-9 to win their first title as a team. It was also Krajicek's first as a dad of his 2-month-old daughter.
