DELRAY BEACH: Taylor Fritz returns to the Delray Beach Open in 2027 with his sights set on making tournament history. A champion in both 2023 and 2024, Fritz is looking to become the first player to lift the Delray Beach trophy three times. The American has enjoyed some of his most memorable moments on Stadium Court, including his breakthrough 2023 victory when he became the tournament's first Top 10-ranked champion. Making his 10th appearance in Delray Beach, Fritz will be hoping to add another title to his impressive record in front of the South Florida crowd.  

CAREER: One of the leading names in American tennis, Fritz reached his first Grand Slam final at the 2024 US Open, becoming the first American man to reach the championship match in New York since 2006. He climbed to a career-high world No. 4 that same year and won an Olympic bronze medal alongside fellow American Tommy Paul in Paris. His breakthrough on the biggest stage came at Indian Wells in 2022, where he defeated Rafael Nadal to claim his first ATP Masters 1000 title. Fritz continued his success in 2025 with a first Wimbledon semifinal appearance and two ATP titles. In 2026, he added another trophy in Washington, D.C., taking his career singles title tally to 11.

PERSONAL: Tennis runs in the Fritz family. His mother, Kathy May, was a Top 10 player on the women's tour, while his father, Guy, is a tennis coach. Fritz grew up admiring Pete Sampras and former Delray Beach Open champion Juan Martín del Potro, who lifted the trophy in 2011. He has since become one of the most recognizable faces in American tennis, including an appearance in the Netflix series Break Point. Away from the court, he enjoys video games and follows Manchester United and the Los Angeles Chargers. He also has a son, Jordan.

DELRAY BEACH: Learner Tien returns to the Delray Beach Open in 2027 as one of the brightest young stars in American tennis. The 20-year-old made an impressive tournament debut in 2026, reaching the semifinals after two remarkable comeback victories. He saved himself from the brink of defeat against defending champion Miomir Kecmanovic before overcoming former Delray Beach champion Frances Tiafoe in another thrilling three-set encounter. Having since established himself among the world's top players, Tien returns to South Florida hoping to go one step further and compete for his first Delray Beach title.

CAREER: Tien's rise through the professional ranks has been remarkable. After announcing himself on the international stage with a stunning victory over Daniil Medvedev at the 2025 Australian Open, he captured his maiden ATP title in Metz later that year and finished the season as Next Gen ATP Finals champion. His momentum continued into 2026, reaching his first Grand Slam quarterfinal at the Australian Open before adding a second ATP title in Geneva. He also reached the semifinals of the Canadian Open, made his Laver Cup debut and climbed to a career-high world No. 12 in August, establishing himself as one of the leading players of his generation.

PERSONAL: Born and raised in Irvine, California, Tien was introduced to tennis at a young age and quickly developed into one of America's most promising juniors. He won the USTA Boys' 18s National Championships at just 16, earning a place in the US Open main draw. After spending a semester at the University of Southern California, he turned professional in 2023. Tien now works with former French Open champion Michael Chang, whose experience has helped guide his rapid rise on the ATP Tour. His parents, Khuong and Huyen, have supported his tennis journey from the beginning, with his father also having a background in coaching.

DELRAY BEACH: Brandon Nakashima returns to the Delray Beach Open in 2027 with fond memories of South Florida. He made his first ATP Tour quarterfinal here in 2020 at just 18 years old, becoming the youngest American to reach the last eight in tournament history. He added a Delray Beach doubles title in 2025 and will be hoping to make another deep run in singles this February.

CAREER: The San Diego native enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2022, winning his first ATP Tour title in his hometown before claiming the Next Gen ATP Finals championship. His career has continued to gather momentum, reaching the Brisbane final in early 2026 before making his first ATP Masters 1000 final in Montreal. That run helped him climb towards a career-high world ranking of No. 16 in September 2026, establishing himself among the leading American players on tour.

PERSONAL: Born and raised in San Diego, California, Nakashima played college tennis at the University of Virginia, where he was named ACC Freshman of the Year before turning professional. He comes from a close-knit family and has credited his parents and brother for their support throughout his career. He is coached by former ATP Top 10 player Wayne Ferreira.
