The 9th annual YellowTennisBall.com Jr. Championships (May 17 – 19, 2025), organized by Players International Management (PIM), the staff that hosts the Delray Beach Open (ATP Event) is a USTA National Level 2 Event consisting of the highest ranked Boys & Girls 12 and under participants in the country. DOUBLES – IMPORTANT
The doubles deadline is Thursday, May 8, 2025 @ 5pm. Even if you registered with a partner online, you must still re-register by emailing the doubles pairing to [email protected].
If you have a partner, both players must agree to play with each other, please email the team (and division) to Elad Yair at [email protected] (make sure to get a return confirmation email).
If we do not hear from you before the deadline date, we will NOT place you in the doubles draw. If you do not have a partner, and would like to be paired with another player, please email Elad Yair at [email protected] (make sure you receive a return email confirmation)– we will do our best to pair you with another player (with a similar ranking). Although, we cannot guarantee that you will be paired, but will make every effort possible.
FORMAT: Single-elimination draw consisting of a 8-game Pro-set with 7-point Tiebreak at 8-games all with NO-AD scoring. There will be a 3/4 Playoff in doubles.
IMPORTANT: Doubles take place BEFORE singles matches on Day 1. Make sure to double-check your start times and site abbreviations.

Draws/Match Times. Singles and doubles draws posted online on Thursday, May 15, 2025 by 4pm.
Format – Singles.
- Feed-in consolation draw (through the Round of 16). Quarter-final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place
- Singles matches will be two tiebreak sets (AD scoring) with a 10-point match tiebreak played at one-set all. If a match splits sets, there is a 3-minute rest period where players may only receive coaching from inside the fence, with the coach on the outside of the fence.

- Day 1: Two Main Draw Singles, one consolation singles, one-two doubles (some divisions might play doubles before their singles)
- Day 2: Two Main Draw Singles, two consolation singles, Quarterfinal Playoff consolation, one-two doubles (some divisions might play doubles before their singles)
- Day 3: Finals & 3/4 Playoff (Main Draw), two consolation singles, Quarterfinal Playoff consolation, doubles (Finals & 3/4 Playoff)
- Maximum matches per day: Four matches per day as long as two of four matches are doubles… Exception: Three singles matches may be played in special circumstances (ie weather).
WEATHER UPDATES / INFO. Weather updates will be sent via messages on Serve Tennis USTA Registration System; view the notes in the Overview area.
CHECK-IN. All players must check in (in person) at the on-site Tournament Desk at least 15 minutes early. We will send your matches to the courts 10 minutes early. This is to reduce your time on-site, as well as for the daily matches to stay on schedule.
DURING MATCH
- Raise your Racket to get the attention of a tennis umpire.
- No Coaching is allowed.
- Players should clearly verbalize the score at the start of each point.
- The Server should clearly call out the score loudly before every point.
COMPLETION OF THE MATCH
- Leave the court promptly, clean up your trash and take your belongings with you.
- Pick up your used tennis balls and drop them in the used balls box at the Tournament Desk
SPORTSMANSHIP & ETIQUETTE:
- Good Sportsmanship is expected from a players and guests
- Players should NEVER spit on the court.
- Inappropriate and unsportsmanlike language, bullying and taunting will not be tolerated and will be coded.
- Spectators who display inappropriate behavior may be removed from the tournament area for the remainder of the tournament. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Players are NOT allowed on the other side of the net, even if invited by their opponent.
- If you need a ball mark inspection, then ask a tennis umpire for help.
- The USTA Point Penalty System, Lateness Rule and Junior Tournament Regulations are in effect.
Refunds: Once the USTA player freeze deadline has passed, no refunds will be distributed.
Match warm-up: Match warm-ups will be 5-minutes unless advised otherwise.
Alternate ordering procedure: Ordered based on the NSL list that was used for selection. Players must check-in with the Site Director and be prepared to play no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match of the event in which they are an alternate. The order of the original alternates list will be used. Players that are defaulted because of lateness, will be replaced in the draw if an on-site alternate is checked in and available to play. On-site Alternates may be admitted into the singles (or doubles) main draw to replace withdrawing players of players matches.
REST BETWEEN MATCHES
Singles to Singles: For matches consisting of a 10-point match tiebreak for the 3rd set, players get a minimum of 1 hour rest.
Doubles to singles, players get 30 minutes rest.
Doubles to doubles, players get 45 minutes rest.
