EVENT LOCATIONS, PRACTICE COURTS, HITTING LESSONS & MORE

 

We are excited to announce that the below public and private facilities will be involved with the 57th anniversary of the USTA Clay Court National Championships.  Please view the below IMPORTANT NOTES as our goal is to play as many singles matches before Noon, in case we have weather issues in the afternoon.

IMPORTANT— Give yourself ample time to travel to each facility (traffic in S. Florida is busy during the weekdays from 7 – 9am and 4 – 6pm)

• Boys 18s Sites are approximately 15-20 minutes from each other.
• Boys 16s Sites are approximately 10 minutes from each other.
• Boys 18s & 16s Sites are approximately 45 minutes from each other
• Weather pending, ALL Boys 18s & 16s matches will be moved to the Delray Beach Tennis Center (DB) for the final three days.
• Check-in 20 minutes before your match times and double-check your Site Abbreviations on the Draw.
• Practice Courts: View the below full list. Pre-event, there might be a minimal ‘practice court’ fee. During the event, there is no practice court fee at the match sites (upon arrival, ask the Site Director which courts are available for practice).

BOYS 18S MATCH & PRACTICE SITES

Practice court availability:

• Tues., July 2 – Fri., July 5, 2024:  Limited availability – $8+pp for 1.5 hours, call 561-243-7360 to reserve courts (one hour increments)… Courts may be reserved no earlier than one day prior.

• Sat., July 6, 2024: Limited availability – complimentary practice courts (Noon – 8pm)… call 561-243-7360 to reserve courts (one hour increments)….Courts may be reserved no earlier than one day prior.

• Beginning Sun., July 7, 2024: Players MAY NOT reserve courts. All courts are 1st-come, 1st-serve.  Upon arrival, please check-in with the Site Director for availability…

  • Friday, July 5: $5pp (resident), $10pp (non-resident) per hour (1 – 8pm)

    • 10 Courts complimentary (Noon - 6pm); if full, additional courts are $5pp (resident), $10pp (non-resident) per hour

BOCA WEST COUNTRY CLUB (BW) (561-488-6996). 20583 Boca West Dr., Boca Raton, 33433.

• Directions: From I-95 Exit Glades Road (go west), thru Jog/Powerline Rd, community on right, go through guard gate, courts straight ahead on left and straight ahead (tell gate you are with the USTA Tennis Tournament).

• • Participants: Call Boca West Country Club (561-488-6996) directly to check availability and check in the pro shop before walking on a court for practice. (based around member play and no practice reservations). Courts are complimentary
  • Club Rules: Follow signs for parking (important).
  • Main Clubhouse. For club members only and players may congregate at the O/Brien’s upstairs anytime, and on the facility patio (only after 11am). Thank you for your understanding.
  • Food & Beverage: There is no food or drink available for purchase at Boca West.
  • Stringing: Available in the pro-shop.
  • Club Rules: Follow signs for parking (important) and wear a mask if entering the Pro-Shop. Main Clubhouse is for club members only and players may congregate at the O/Brien’s upstairs anytime, and on the facility patio (only after 11am). Thank you for your understanding.

  • 1 - 5pm (and later): Pro Shop closes at 5pm, but players may still hit after 5pm.  

  Sun., July 7: No courts available before 1pm; after 1pm ask the pro shop for availability (10+ courts)

  Mon, July 8 – Thu, July 11:

  • 7 - 11am: (8+ courts), After 11am: (10+ courts)
  • Pro Shop closes at 5pm, but players may still hit after 5pm.

BOYNTON BEACH TENNIS CENTER (Clay Courts):  561-742-6575. 3111 S. Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.  Directions: From I-95 Exit Woolbright. Head West to Congress. Turn left (going South) on Congress. Tennis club on the corner of Congress and SW 30th (on right). MUST call 24 hours in advance to reserve courts as availability is based around member bookings; PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP AT FACILITY. $12pp+ up to 1.5 hours.

 

 

 

 

BOYS 16S MATCH & PRACTICE SITES

 

*Weather pending, ALL Boys 18s & 16s matches will be moved to the Delray Beach Tennis Center (DB; 201 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach; 40 min. from the below sites) for the final three days. The event is creating a televised Highlight Show for each event (B18 & B16).

• Facility Rules: IMPORTANT – No dogs allowed on-site, no outside food brought in, players may bring water coolers.
• Practice Courts:
  • Before Saturday, July 6, 2024: Call facility for availability and pricing ($12pp per hour)
  • Saturday July 6, 2024: Complimentary practice courts, call facility to reserve courts… facility closes @ 7pm.
  • Sunday, July 7 –  Thursday, July 11, 2024: Complimentary & 1st-come 1st serve, cannot reserve courts (check with Site Director upon arrival)… Facility opens @ 7:10am, no courts available before 7:10am… 10 (7:10 – 8:10am), 1-2 thereafter

 

MATCH SITE - PGA NATIONAL SPORTS & RACQUET CLUB (PGA) (561-627.4444). 600 Ave of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418

• Courts – Practice

• Before Sun. July 7, 2024:

• Availability (up to 60 minutes): 7-8am, 11-12:30pm & 4-7pm only by reservation; the court will be shared with other players (maximum 4 players/court).

• Cost: $5/player/hour. Must check in at the pro shop before playing.

 

• Sun., July 7 - Wed, July 10, 2024: Cannot reserve courts; courts are complimentary and 1st-come, 1st serve. Upon arrival, check in with the Site Director for practice courts availability (below):

Site Info:

• Gate: Let security know you are a participant at the ‘USTA Nationals'. Snacks, sports drinks and food for sale. Alcohol is prohibited on-site. The ice machine and water fountain are located by the racquets shop.
• Parking: Park across the street from the Sports and Racquet Club parking lot
• Ice (complimentary): Located near the courts
• Stringing: $25/racquet with your own strings, $20/racquet plus the cost of the strings available in the shop
• Access to the locker rooms are available for restroom and shower purpose only.
• Players staying at PGA National Resort can access the resort pool and the fitness area.
• Cannot use pool or gym
• Pets: Not allowed on-site
• Restrooms: Showers available

• Facility Rules: No pets allowed on-site, no tank tops, no outside food brought in (players may bring water coolers).
• Practice Courts (complimentary):
  • No courts available before Sat., July 6
  • Sat., July  – Wed., July 10: Beginning Mon, July 1, players may call Logan Lencheski to reserve courts (from Sat., July 6 @ 7am - Wed, July 10) in one hour increments. If courts are full, players will have to double up and have half court each.

• Community: At security gate, mention ‘USTA Nationals’
• Directions to Tennis:
• PGA Entrance – proceed to stop sign #4 (they are numbered) and turn left. Follow the road to the parking lot on the left side.
• Northlake Entrance- proceed to stop sign #4 and turn right. Follow road to the parking lot on the left side.
• Military Trail Entrance- turn left onto E Island Avenue, take it to the end and turn right into BallenIsles Drive. At stop sign #4 turn right and follow road to the parking lot on the left side.  proceed to the back parking lot.
